None of us had ever previously been active with any kind of affair intended for the White House and so we were pretty psyched... It turned out to be a picturesque soothing full moon night as the yacht slipped along the San Francisco Waterfront with Tipper Gore and her friends. Subsequent to a very long day on the campaign trail Mrs. Gore turned out to be enjoyable as well as friendly. She discovered the onboard staff by name and was especially down to earth.
