I was in a state of panic. It's perfectly natural to be in a panic before the wedding day. After all, it was the most important day of my daughter's life, and one of the most proud days of mine.

I just needed to have everything right. I needed to know that everything was arranged flawlessly. Of course, I knew I was being irrational. It is almost perfectly natural to be irrational before such a gala occasion. Nevertheless, I could not help myself. My husband informed me to calm down, but it did no good. & then the bad news struck.

It seems that the florist had messed up the flower arrangement. It isn't like we hadn't given him specific instructions. Just like with assembling the wholesale wedding favors, we gave step by step instructions. As an alternate choice to the dark violet floral bridal bouquet that we had expected, we're presented with a series of Calla lily arrangements. I think that calla lilies make beautiful flower arrangements for weddings, but they did not go along with any-thing. They clashed awfully. All the guests were polite about it, but I cannot believe that nobody noticed!
